Born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, Colorado, Chris Blaul developed his skill and passion for painting at a young age. During high school, Chris began honing his painting skills working on custom homes in the Aspen area. After attending a drafting school in Denver, Colorado, Chris moved to California with dreams of designing and painting estates. After a short stint in Malibu, Chris relocated to Santa Barbara in 1987. By 1991, Chris was licensed as a painting contractor and shortly thereafter, CB Paint & Décor was established.
As CB Paint & Décor, Chris has redesigned, remodeled, redecorated and transformed hundreds of clients Santa Barbara homes, as well as his own residences, into charming and elegant abodes. His knowledge of trends and classic styles gives him a unique edge that enables him to envision the décor that is suited to his clients tastes. Chris inspiration can be seen all over Santa Barbara from downtown restaurants to palatial estates.
As a role model for his painting team and family, Chris is disciplined in setting an example through his work ethics and customer service. You can count on seeing a lot more designs and homes in Santa Barbara and the surrounding area with Chris Blauls artistic touch.
At Chris Blaul Paint and Décor, our focus is primarily on quality painting and decorative (faux) finishes involving more detail and creativity to provide artistic satisfaction. Color samples, as well as decorative (faux) sample boards are available to help clients choose finishes with ease.
New construction, re-models, re-paints, custom homes and commercial properties; we love to create new and exciting finishes for those clients who appreciate Old World patinas, frescos and stenciling as well as contemporary accents.

Chris Blaul Paint and Décor was established in 1991 and local references are available upon request. We will make every effort to accurately figure all aspects of a project to avoid additional expenses for our clients and eliminate misunderstandings.
Chris Blaul Paint & Décor is licensed, bonded and Insured up to One million dollars. We are members of the BBB with and unblemished 16 year history. Our work is primarily in the Tri-County area with previous specialty projects in Bel Air, Malibu, Los Angeles and Palm Springs.
